Sara was an absolutely amazing guide! Her knowledge, passion and pride really shone through throughout the tour! She made us feel parrot of the community, took time to get to know us and cared for us throughout like family. Exceptional, highly recommend not only Sara, but Casa Kolacho for the amazing work they do!!
Absolutely incredible experience, definitely the most fun I had in Medellin during the week that I was here! Sara the tour guide was wonderful and the snapshot you get of Colombia is breathtaking. Highly highly recommend
We had a wonderful tour of Communa 13 with Sara recently. She very gently coached us in how to be respectful of the residents and to approach the neighbourhood showing care. Sara took the time to explain the complex and troubling history of the communa, and gave a very open and honest picture of the major events that shaped it. We learned about the great work that Casa Colacho has been doing to break the cycle of violence and gang membership amongst the youth of the Communa. We also tried mangoviche for the first time - it was divine!! We would highly recommend the tour and of course Sara. Thank you for giving us an educational but fun experience! 😁
