Description

Itinerary At the specified time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Bocagrande or from the agreed meeting point in Cartagena de Indias. From there, we will take a one-hour minibus ride to the Barú Peninsula. Once at our destination, we will board a speedboat and cruise across the Caribbean Sea to the Los Velázquez Water Park. If you are a beginner, don't worry. Before making your first dive, we will give you a short lesson and practice the basic techniques in an area with calm water. Afterward, it will be time to set off in search of the AC Quindio, a ship sunk by the Colombian Navy in 2005. Kitted out with our gear, we will dive into the water to explore every nook and cranny of the ship. We will go inside the ship and explore its various compartments. When the pressure gauge indicates it's time, we will return to the surface. In total, each dive will last approximately 30 minutes. After the dive, you will have three hours of free time to recharge and rest on your own. We will conclude the activity by taking you back to Cartagena after nine hours of exploration. Options At the time of booking, you can choose between different options. Below, you can see the specifics of each option: Scuba Diving with 1 Dive + Lunch: After a 30-minute scuba dive, you will satisfy your appetite with a traditional lunch featuring a choice of fresh fish, chicken, or a vegetarian option. After lunch, you will have some free time to relax at the Barú beach club, which is perfect for sunbathing on comfortable loungers. Scuba diving with 2 dives + Lunch: The most complete option available! This option includes two scuba dives of 30 minutes each, a delicious lunch at the beach club, and free time to relax on the lounge chairs. Certified divers If you hold any international diving certification, you must bring it with you on the day of the excursion. Uncertified divers will not enter the ship but will explore it from the outside. Children between 3 and 12 years old must have a PADI certification. Otherwise, they will participate in a simpler diving activity. Pickup This activity includes pick-up from hotels located in the Bocagrande area. If you are staying in another area of Cartagena de Indias, you should go to the Torre del Reloj monument at the indicated time.
