Description
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your Bogota hotel and set off for Villa de Leyva, a journey of approximately four hours. Along the way, we'll make a brief stop for breakfast near the Boyacá bridge.
Once in Villa de Leyva, we'll begin a sightseeing tour of its old town, featuring the expansive Plaza Mayor, Colombia's largest square at 14,000 square meters (150,700 square feet).
You'll explore significant landmarks like the Nuestra Señora del Rosario church and the Natural History Museum, known for its collection of regional fossils. Alternatives include visiting an ostrich farm, the artificial lakes of Pozos Azules, or the Mud Hand, a notable photographic site.
Afterward, you'll have a 2-hour break for lunch. Refueled, we'll return to Bogota, concluding this 15-hour adventure back at your hotel.
