Description
In a single day, enjoy the indigenous spiritual cosmogony, Christian spirituality, the beauty of nature, and the grandeur of the architecture. At the end of your experience, you will be returned back to your point of origin.
Our escapade initiates with a picturesque drive through La Calera; soak in the Andean mountains. Next, we journey to the colonial town of Guatavita, culminating with a respectful trek to the venerated Guatavita Lagoon—the mythical birthplace of El Dorado. This natural wonder is a testament to our pledge for protecting our ecological heritage and fostering responsible interaction with the history of the Muisca people.
Next in the experience, we advance to Zipaquirá where you will feast on delicious, locally sourced lunch supporting the region's economy, great isn't it? The grand finale includes your preferred option: descend into the awe-inspiring underground halls of the Salt Cathedral— an engineering and spiritual marvel that is—(entry included in Full opcion), or, should you like it more the charm of the town streets.
Choosing our efficient, collective transportation adds to Bogotá’s aims for enduring tourism reducing individual emissions, good for the planet. Unite with our international family for a day of shared history, scenic beauty, and conscious exploration, before returing to the capital, sounds good eh?
