History of coffee, predominant species, planting and growth of the coffee tree. Tour of our gardens and coffee plantations, harvest and sowing. Composting and crop fertilization station. Explanation on sustainability, fauna and flora. Visit to the processing plant: hopper, pulper, mechanical drying and traditional drying. Storage warehouse, threshing and marketing of coffee. Types of roasting and their importance in the quality of coffee. Bases for a correct coffee extraction. Traditional preparation of coffee in a cloth strainer and pot.

Important Information

• It is possible to take a Willys Jeep from the square in Salento to reach our farm. However, this is not included in the price you will pay for the activity. The farm is located 4 km from Salento. The road is considered tertiary and is not completely paved.
