Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Bogotá and head north. After an hour, we'll arrive in the El Rosal municipality in Cundinamarca.

Criadero Lusitania is known for its equestrian centre with a history spanning 3 generations, specializing in Colombian Paso Fino horses, recognized as Genetic Cultural Heritage.

Upon arrival, we'll be welcomed with a Colombian coffee and watch a short film about the breeding of Colombian horses, highlighting its cultural importance.

Following the video, we'll take a guided tour of the Criadero Lusitania facilities, visiting the tack room and stables where we can brush, pet, and feed the horses.

After the tour, we'll enjoy a traditional Colombian lunch with options including sanchocho, bandeja paisa, criolla burger, ajiaco, or a vegetarian option, along with a beverage choice of soft drink or mineral water.

Post lunch, we’ll attend an equestrian demonstration led by a chalan. Afterward, those interested can mount a horse under supervision.

We will then conclude our visit and return to Bogotá, expected to arrive back approximately 6 hours after departure.
