Visiting Colombia’s Amazon is definitely the best way to start your adventure in the world’s lung. With us you will discover a new side of Colombia: places far away from cities, where indigenous communities live in a sacred communion with the nature and protect it. Day 1 The tour will begin in Leticia, where our driver will pick you up and take you to the port where the boat to Puerto Nariño will be waiting. You will make a stop on the Peruvian Amazon to visit an indigenous community. You will also visit a natural reservoir to see the marvelous Victoria Regia, Isla de los Micos and the Tikuna indigenous community. Then take the boat ride to Lake Tarapoto, enter the small indigenous community of Tarapoto, and after lunch enjoying a delightful swim and as the sun sets in the jungle. Day 2 Overnight in a cabin by Lake Tarapoto, and the next day get ready to return to Puerto Nariño to visit Alto del Aguila to feed wild monkeys and see macaws. Finish the day with an outstanding panoramic view of the Amazon River and jungle. By afternoon you’ll take the boat back to Leticia, where we’ll take you to your hotel or the airport.
