Note: The listing's images depict both available options. Regardless of where you book, expect Baru to be touristy. Island vendors in Baru are very persistent and can be bothersome. Tierra Bomba is fully private. Businesses at these two beach clubs have markups, higher than normal prices apply. Ask for the price beforehand and check receipts. Option #1) - Baru Beach Club Day Trip: This option suits flexible travelers seeking a budget-friendly activity, comfortable with navigating unpaved roads, and engaging with local vendors regularly. We'll meet near the Historic Center where we'll board a bus that will take us to Baru, 1 hour away. Upon arrival, you'll have access to a beach club at Playa Blanca for swimming and leisure throughout the day. Beware that consumption is mandatory when using parasols or beach beds. Bus journey times may vary depending on traffic. Return to Cartagena at around 5 PM. Option #2) - Tierra Bomba Beach Club Day Trip: This option is perfect for travelers who prefer a tranquil experience, offering all-day access to a private beach club with no vendor interaction. We'll meet near the Historic Center where we'll board a large passenger speedboat that will take you to Tierra Bomba Island, 25 mins away. 14.000 COP tourist port tax cash fee not included. Boat rides are bumpy. Upon arrival, you'll have access to the beach club for swimming and leisure throughout the day. Beware that consumption is mandatory when using parasols or beach beds.
